While visiting the desert area in California I had the opportunity to enjoy a round of golf at the Indian Wells Celebrity Course. I was so inspired by the stunning landscape on the 16th hole that I decided to paint it.

28X40 with the Custom Frame from Chapman Gallery. This painting is done utilizing the layered method as did the masters of the Renaissance. I started out by painting a Griese or monochrome painting. Following this are layers of oil paint.
